![]() Do you enjoy playing games? Do you like playing those lateral thinking puzzle game things? Are you like me, and are incredibly, insanely bored right now? If you said yes to all of those questions, or maybe only one of them, or heck, none of them, Riddle of Popoa is (maybe) the game for you! The link to start is at the bottom of the page, but I would strongly recommend scrolling down and reading the rules, or you won't know what to do. To solve this riddle, you need an image editing program. You can download the gimp for free here, or you can use photoshop if you have bought it. Start ~ Forums ~ Statistics ~ Rules ~ Hints ~ Awesome People - Feedback Statistics Riddle of Popoa has 40 levels, and, hopefully, I'm going to keep making more. 4 people have solved level 40 (gotten tempend) of Riddle of Popoa. Rules and Important Info To play this game, all you have to do is get to the next level, using whatever methods you need (besides cheating ;D). The methods will vary. Most of the time you will see a puzzle on the screen in front of you, and you must solve the puzzle, enter the answer in the answer bar, and it will take you to the next level. However, not every level works that way. You may have to do some strange, computer-related tasks. Or you may have to go to some other site and get the answer there. Who knows? There really aren't any rules at all, you have to get to the next level however you can. Everything's fair play, except for getting people to tell you the answers, or looking up the answers online or something like that. Note: Some riddles are extremely aggravating, because they say something like, "don't try to change the URL". You may think that it's reverse psychology, so you try to change the URL, and waste about an hour on that. OR, sometimes it says "don't try to change the URL," so you don't, and it turns out to be a hint that you weren't supposed to take seriously. I'm clearing that up now. You will never have to do anything in a level that it specifically tells you NOT to do. However, if it doesn't actually state it, like it implies it, it's still up for grabs. You do have to use your brain a little, yes! Here are the components of a RoP level, and some good places to look for hints: ![]() click the image for a bigger version 1: The page title: At the top of every page is a title. See it? Here, on this page, it is "Riddle of Popoa!". The stuff in there can be very helpful, and all you have to do is look at the top of your browser window! 2: The source code: From level five upwards, the source code can be a very helpful place to look! You'll want to visit the source in every level. In the source, sometimes the image's name holds a clue, but usually not. To view the source, either a) right click on the page and select "View Source" or "View Page Source", or b) go to the toolbar and go to View -> Source or Page Source. 3: The address bar: The address bar will usually be like this: http://mppland.eeveeshq.com/popoa/folder/answerfrompreviouslevel.htm. The folder name often contains hints. The thing you must know, is that it is possible to see the folder for the next level in the source. The folder for the next level will NEVER contain hints for the current level. Remember that. 4: Google: You'll need to google a lot. If you don't know something, that's no excuse for not being able to find out. You can find out anything on the internet. 5: Level Number: Quite obviously, the level number states what level you are on. Also, obviously, it will never contain hints. =) 6: Picture: Usually the picture has very little to do with the level, but often it does. It's usually plain to see whether the picture contains hints or not. For example, if it says something cryptic like "the shirt is blue, but the sky is not!" then it's prolly a hint. If it's just a design, it's prolly not a hint. ;) 7: Place to enter your answer: Enter your answer there. IMPORTANT: There will NEVER be any characters that aren't a-z or 0-9 in the answer. That means no spaces, hyphens, anything. The answer will always be a word or phrase, never anything like "werhvnk". Just because a level has the answer bar, doesn't necessarily mean you use it in that level. (un)Helpful Hints Please attempt to solve the level before reading the hints =)
1: If you need help on this one, I'm assuming you're disabled and can? click the mouse. But then how did you get to the page? Don't think too hard here!
2: Don't give up yet! Here? another easy one. The picture is asking you a question. Give the answer. No, not YOURS, but someone else's! If you have no idea, you weren't paying any attention to the first page. 3: Read the title first. Hmmm what could that be referring to? Well there's no password box, and there's no links to click so what do you think you have to do? Think about it. 4: G-g-g-g-goooooooooooooooooooogle! First, answer the question in the picture. Then google for that, along with the other sentence. 5: Does anything in the source code... stand Out? 6: A simplistic code for level six. You don't have to change anything, just read in a different way. 7: This one is also a code, but you have to do some math first. Once you get the code, it is definitely something you've seen before, just with a twist. Did you find the hint? 8: In this level, I'm trying to tell ya that not EVERYTHING in a level is related to the solution... 9: Hmm it's missing. Look in previous levels. How could you access the image? 10: Step 1: Find out who the middleman is. Step 2: Eliminate the middleman, and make sense out of those weird bits of words around the level. 11: ...
